Why I write for FootballFanCast.com
Lewis Doe, Football FanCast regular and one of Football FanCast’s up and coming journalists, shares his thoughts on working for Football FanCast:
“Football FanCast carries with it many great benefits. The number of readers the website gets is huge and exposure to this is something that is priceless in terms of experience. The website allows articles and blogs to be read by thousands of people who can leave comments; this all helps me as a writer make my points more precise and my arguments stronger.
In terms allowing me to development I feel that Football FanCast has been imperative to where I am at the moment. I am given the chance to write on a daily basis, which I feel gives me the opportunity to prove that I can be punctual and write quickly to a high standard. It is also an impressive thing to put down on my CV because of the growing calibre of the website all the time. More and more high profile people are visiting the website and reading its content so it really does stand out if I can prove I’ve been writing efficiently for a long time.
The website allows me to develop my own brand and style of writing, as well as getting a lot of support from the editor who makes sure that I never stray far from the point of anything I write. The work experience it provides is first rate, especially when you consider the growing development of the Internet and the dying medium of the print media; it virtually sets me up for the next generation of media writing. I love writing for Football FanCast and hope to do so for a long time to come.” Lewis Doe
