Football FanCast Internship Scheme

The Football FanCast Internship Scheme offers young aspiring sports journalists a fantastic opportunity where your contribution will make a real impact. You will receive first class experience in the highly competitive sports journalism industry and we will offer full support, training and valuable experience for your future journalism career.

Throughout the scheme you will get plenty of training, assistance and guidance from the Editor so that you can develop as a writer, whilst also being given the independence to follow the areas of the industry that intrigue you most. Over the course of the scheme you will be continually challenged, making you stronger as a writer and giving you a solid footing from which to pursue a career in football journalism.

Through writing for Football FanCast during the internship scheme not only will you learn a great deal, but you will also have a tangible online portfolio on the website that contains hundreds of pieces of written content. Your articles will be read by hundreds of thousands of people and the end result is an extensive portfolio of written work that will stand out on your CV.

The Football FanCast internship scheme lasts for a three-month period. You will be based at home but be required to attend regular training sessions in London throughout the course of the scheme. You need to be proactive and self-motivated and have a passion for writing and football.
